Creaware integrates Seiko RC1536 high-resolution printheads, capable of producing graphics at 360 dpi. This configuration allows detailed decorative patterns, fine lines and rich color compositions to be reproduced with clarity and uniformity across entire production runs.

One of the key technological elements of Creaware is Creavision, an advanced vision-based auto-centering system entirely designed and developed in-house. Before printing, the camera reads each piece and dynamically rotates the artwork to match its exact orientation on the conveyor.

This dynamic printing capability ensures precise placement, full coverage with controlled drops, and reduced ink consumption.

The system also allows the machine to adapt automatically to different formats in real time, making it possible to switch between product types without interrupting the production line.

Stable ink delivery is essential for a stable printing performance.  

Creaware incorporates a fully controlled ink management architecture designed to maintain optimal operating conditions throughout the printing process. The platform integrates four independent recirculation systems that continuously circulate the ink, preventing pigment sedimentation and ensuring stable flow to the printheads.

Ink temperature is automatically controlled to maintain consistent viscosity, which is crucial for accurate drop formation and color stability. In addition, the machine performs timed automatic cleaning cycles that keep the printheads in optimal condition, reducing the risk of nozzle clogging and ensuring reliable operation over extended production periods.

Workflow integration and production efficiency

Creaware is designed to integrate smoothly into industrial tableware production lines while maintaining continuous production flow, with a distinctive advantage in line integration: multiple digital printers can operate on the same production line, enabling combinations of digital glazes, decorations, and integrated dry applications. This modularity allows full industrial control while expanding creative possibilities.

The decoration process consists of four main stages:

1. Loading: tableware items are positioned on the conveyor system.
2. Image scanning and alignment: the Creavision camera reads each piece and aligns the artwork accordingly.
3. Digital printing: the decoration is applied through the single-pass printing module.
4. Unloading: decorated items continue to the next phase of the production process.

The digital pass printing machine uses a belt conveyor with a width of up to 400 mm and supports different tableware formats, enabling manufacturers to manage diversified production lines. Typical productivity levels demonstrate the system’s industrial performance:

Creaware supports printing on various ceramic materials used in tableware manufacturing, including bone china, fine china, stoneware, earthenware and porcelain. Through integrated pre-heating and post-heating systems, the machine can operate in both in-glaze and on-glaze decoration processes.

An optional backstamp unit can also be integrated to enable marking on the reverse side of the tableware.
